Fostering the Engagement and Ongoing Communications with Parents and their Children

Children's Resources on Wheels

Children’s Resources on Wheels is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and strengthening child care, family life, child development and community links in Lanark County.

Our entire organization is strengthened by the inclusion of individuals with a diversity of lived experiences. As we strive and work to create a culture that is welcoming and accessible to all members of our community, we acknowledge that this can only exist when the voices of those historically underrepresented in our community are centered, respected, and amplified.

Who is Children’s Resources on Wheels (CROW)?

About Us

Children’s Resources on Wheels (CROW) recognizes children are capable and curious and delivers programs and services that value and build on their strengths and abilities. CROW is guided by How Does Learning Happen? Ontario’s Pedagogy for the Early Years as a professional learning resource guide for Educators to support pedagogy and curriculum/program development in our early learning programs. This aligns with the Ministry of Education’s Policy Statement on programming and pedagogy.  At CROW we view children and families as community members with valuable ideas and perspectives.

Licensed Home Child Care

Licensed Home Child Care is available in a home setting that meets legislated standards set out by the Province of Ontario for children between 6 weeks and 13 years of age requiring care in Lanark County.

Participant Feedback

I will be forever grateful to you for how you helped build my confidence as a mum, helped me
understand what community is and gave me the safe space to make lifelong friendships.

Thank you for all you do and are. Coming to your group is like being with a mom/friend yet you are always professional. You are so welcoming and easy to talk to and she absolutely loves you.

In this crazy, busy world where families struggle to make ends meet and maintain a work/life
balance, CROW services provide a little oasis, support and advice when needed the most.
